The Proverbs 31 Woman

I came across this the other day when I was doing a Bible study on the Proverbs 31 woman. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

If you can find a truly good wife, she is worth more than
all the diamonds in Tiffany's!
She holds the flashlight and doesn't make fun
while her husband repairs the drippy faucet for the seventh time.
She sews on Girl Scout patches while
watching "Sesame Street" with her four-year old;

And treats her teen-age son's basketball team to pizza
after they lose the big game.
She gets up before dawn to go jogging
after setting out the box of granola and fresh fruit for her family.
She earns a real estate license and puts a down payment
on a duplex with her commission.
She keeps her floors shiny with Mop-n-Sop,

And clips coupons.
She pays the monthly bills while watching the 11 o'clock news.
She repairs her kids' tennies with Zippy glue and
cleans out her closet for the homeless.
She enjoys knitting sweaters while watching football with her own
#1 hero.
When she gets all dressed up, her king of the castle
thinks she looks like the queen.
When she and her husband attend the White House Prayer Breakfast,
she doesn't faint when the President shakes her hand.
She works out at Believercize
and softens her wrinkles with Vit. E oil.
She smiles and says Good morning to the cranky next door neighbor.
She keeps score for her younger sons little league games and agrees
to teach Sunday School for one more year.
She goes to PTA meetings and choir practice,
even when it means missing the conclusion to a mini series she is following.
Her husband tells her, Honey, your the greatest, and her children rise up and call her..... collect!
