Our pastor warned us Sunday morning he was hyped up!! I found it strange we didnt get a prelude to what he was preaching on that morning on facebook. He finished preaching slightly early and begins talking about how there are more than 300 million people who wake up each day with out shoes. ITs now he begins to take his shoes off and makes the following challenge to the church- as God lays it upon your heart leave your shoes(the ones you are wearing right now and go barefoot to Sunday school and home.) at the alter. AMAZING!!! is about all I can say seeing so many people walking around with no shoes on, the rocks and hot pavement couldnt have felt nice but they did it to show the love of God to those who couldnt afford a pair of shoes. He mentioned as of Sunday they collected over 600 pairs of shoes and people where still bringing in more!!! Thank you for being a church that will allow God to work in and through you to reach the world for Christ.
